Este post visa simplesmente repassar a informação do ciclo de vida de diversos produtos Microsoft. Informação passada originalmente pelo Marlos Bosso (TAM – Microsoft):

Este aviso contém os produtos da Microsoft que mudarão de fase no ciclo de suporte nos próximos meses.

Atenção para o Sevice Pack 1 do Windows Vista e o Office XP, o suporte para ambos termina dia 12 de Julho de 2011.

Esse aviso contém:

· Services Packs que deixarão de ter suporte (Service Packs Going Out of Support);

· Produtos que estão na fase de suporte estendido e deixarão de ter suporte (Extended Support to Non-Support);

· Produtos que estão na fase de suporte básico e deixarão ter suporte  (Mainstream Support to Non-Support);

· Produtos que estão passando da fase de suporte básico para a fase de suporte estendido (Mainstream Support to Extented Support)

Service Packs Going Out of Support(s)

Key Products Transitioning: Service Packs Retiring

Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Support Ends July 12, 2011

Custom Support is available

· Support for Windows Vista Service Pack 1 will end on July 12, 2011. Microsoft recommends that customers upgrade to Service Pack 2 or Windows 7.

· Custom Support is available for Windows Vista Service Pack 1 if customers need additional time for migration.

Microsoft Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 Support Ended January 11, 2011

Custom Support is available

· Support for Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 ended on January 11, 2011. Microsoft recommends that customers upgrade to Service Pack 3.

· Custom Support is available for Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 if customers need additional time for migration.

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 0 Support Ends July 12, 2011

Custom Support is available

· Support for Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 0 will end on July 12, 2011. Microsoft recommends that customers upgrade to a supported service pack. 

· Custom Support is available for Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 0 if customers need additional time for migration.

Microsoft Dynamics GP 10 Service Pack 3 ends 10/11/2011

· Support for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10 Service Pack 3 will end October 11, 2011. Microsoft recommends that customers upgrade to a supported service pack.

Extended Support to Non-Support

Key Products Transitioning: Extended Support to Non-support

Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 Support Ended January 11, 2011

Custom Support is available

· Support for Windows Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 ended on January 11, 2011. Microsoft recommends that customers upgrade to a supported product.

· Custom Support is available for Windows Exchange Server 2000 if customers need additional time for migration.

Microsoft Office XP Support Ends July 12, 2011

Custom Support is Available

· Support for Office XP Ends July 12, 2011. Microsoft recommends that customers migrate to a supported product. .

· Custom Support is available if customers need additional time for migration. (Custom Support covers Standard, Professional, Developer and Small Business Editions)

BizTalk Server 2000 Support Ends 7/12/11

· Support for BizTalk Server 2000 Ends July 12, 2011. Microsoft recommends that customers migrate to a support product. 

Mainstream Support to Non-Support

Key Products Transitioning: Mainstream Support to Nonsupport

Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 Support Ended January 11, 2011

Custom Support is available

· Support for Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 ended January 11, 2011. Microsoft recommends that customers upgrade to a supported product.

· Custom Support is available if customers need additional time for migration.

Mainstream Support to Extended Support

Key Products Transitioning: Mainstream Support to Extended Support

Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 Mainstream Support ends 10/11/2011

· Customers who wish to enroll in Extended Hotfix Support must do so within 90 days of the product leaving Mainstream Support. For additional information about Extended Hotfix Support, please go to http://lifecycle/ policies

BizTalk Server 2006 Mainstream Support ends 7/12/2011

· Customers who wish to enroll in Extended Hotfix Support must do so within 90 days of the product leaving Mainstream Support. For additional information about Extended Hotfix Support, please go to http://lifecycle/ policies

Windows Storage Server 2003 Mainstream Support ends 10/11/2011

· Customers who wish to enroll in Extended Hotfix Support must do so within 90 days of the product leaving Mainstream Support. For additional information about Extended Hotfix Support, please go to http://lifecycle/ policies
